Axions are a leading dark matter candidate with a unique feature: a sensitive experiment can either discover them or exclude their role as dark matter for a specific axion mass range.
The progress made as part of the ADMX effort is quite close to achieve this milestone for an axion mass range of 1 to 100 micro-eV.
CAPP in Korea plans to build on this experience and help make the final effort to achieve/surpass the required sensitivity.
The final goal is to develop the sensitivity down to 10% axion dark matter.
