The first stars in the universe may have been shined due to dark matter
annihilation instead of nuclear fusion. They were dark matter-powered stars,
or for short Dark Stars. Annihilation of weakly interacting massive
particles may have provided the necessary heating. In this talk, I will
briefly report on the story of Dark Stars: how they formed, how they
evolved, and how they might have died.
