Physical phenomena of tissues and cells under electromagnetic influence
Nordenstrom found in 1978 that the human lung generates a closed circuit when inserted with two closed electrodes. This concept has been applied to the cancer tumor treatment. In this talk, biophysical investigation will be summerized to explain cellular necrosis(death) in macroscopic and microscopic approach. Macroscopic approach will deal with electroosmosis and pH potential change. Microscopic approach will touch the area of nanoscale E-field change across the cell membrane and their signal behavior.
