The standard model of particle physics has been so much successful in describing physics at energy scales below few hundreds GeV. However there are some theoretical and experimental indications that new physics appear at around the TeV energy scale, which will be able to be probed directly by future experiments. I will explain what kind of new physics are expected to be there, and also what would be the possible implications of TeV scale physics for more ambitious theory unifying the gravity with other forces in the universe.
