PHYSICS IN NANOELECTRONICS ERA
Dae Mann Kim,
Computational Sciences
Korea Institute for Advanced Study
The nanoelectronics constitutes an important core element of rapidly burgeoning nanoscience (NS) or nanotechnology (NT) and is generally believed to be the technology driver in IT or IR era. The progressive evolution from microelectronics to nanoelectronics will be compactly described in conjunction with NS/NT. Also, the near term future of nanoelectronics is informally projected and the role of physics for the advancement of NS/NT will be discussed.
